Bumon Jujutsu - 6th kyu - Online Martial Arts Dojo

Welcome to the Bumon organization's 6th Kyu Jujutsu online course, a program meticulously designed to guide students through the fundamental and advanced techniques of traditional Japanese Jujutsu. This course is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the martial art of Jujutsu, known for its effectiveness in self-defense and its profound philosophy that integrates body, mind and spirit.

Throughout this course, we will explore in detail a series of essential techniques that form the basis of 6th Kyu Jujutsu, beginning with "Shuko Uchi", a powerful palm strike technique, progressing to "Do Gaeshi", a sophisticated reversal, and encompassing the domain of "Fudo Ken", immobilizing fists that symbolize the immovable mountain.

Additionally, we will delve into fundamental defenses such as "Gedan Uke" and "Jodan Uke", which prepare the student to protect against both low and high attacks. Evasion and movement skills will also be taught with "Hichosabaki", along with specialized grappling and control techniques such as "Kakae Hiji Dori" and "Karame Dori".

In this course, the practice of "Kasumi Dori", "Koho Kaiten" and "Koho Sabaki" will emphasize the importance of agility and the ability to react to any direction of attack. The correct learning of falls with "Koho Ukemi" and traditional Japanese ceremonies with "Koshiki Reiho" will also form an integral part of the program, ensuring that students not only learn the physical techniques but also the respect and etiquette that govern Jujutsu.

Each course module has been carefully designed by Takaharu, a master with decades of experience in Japanese martial arts, to provide a deep understanding of each technique and its application.
